Welcome to the Zera Lab. We are committed to mentoring young scientists in their pursuit to understand mechanisms underlying cognitive decline after stroke. We are particularly interested in the interface between the immune response and cerebrovasculature and how both of these systems are dysregulated by aging. Our team of scientists works diligently to uncover new insights in stroke recovery, and to test novel therapeutics, aiming to improve lives worldwide.
